These elegant cones are a perfect blend of fresh flavors and sophisticated presentation, making them ideal for dinner parties, cocktail hours, or any special occasion where you want to dazzle your guests.


Ahi Tuna Cones

Ingredients

12 mini waffle cones

1 pound ahi tuna

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 bunch of green onions, diced

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (black and/or tan) – optional garnish

1 teaspoon seaweed, minced – optional garnish

Fresh cilantro – optional garnish

Salt and pepper to taste


Directions
  1. Cut the ahi tuna into small cubes/pieces.

  2. In a medium sized bowl, mix the tuna with the chopped green onion, sesame seeds, seaweed and sesame oil.

  3. Season the mixture with salt and paper to taste.

  4. Position the mini waffle cones in an upright position using uncooked rice to hold them.

  5. Place tuna mixture into a waffle cone and repeat to use the rest of the tuna mixture in all 12 cones.

  6. Garnish each cone with a cilantro leaf if desired.
